What this site is

Wake Up Somewhere is a travel journal: our recommendations, written from places we've stayed. It's inspiration, not a booking service. Prices, opening dates and details change, so please confirm with the hotel before you book.

Requests and submissions

If you send a "request the room" form, we'll reply ourselves or pass your request to the property with your permission. Nothing is booked until the property confirms it with you. If you send us a place to consider, we may visit and write about it; we'll always credit the hotel, not the tip.

Our words and photos

The writing and photography here belong to us or are used with permission. Please ask before reusing them; sharing a link is always welcome.

Other websites

We link to hotels and other sites we like. We don't control them and aren't responsible for what they say or do.

Accuracy

We work hard to get things right, but we can't promise everything is complete or current. Travel decisions are yours to make.
